Winter Indoor Meetings 2012 – 2013

Lenham Community Centre is easy to find, with lots of parking and good wheelchair access:
Indoor meetings are usually the third Thursday of September (with a brief AGM), November, January and March.
Members and friends are very welcome at our indoor meetings. If you are not yet a member and want to find out more about us an indoor meeting is a very good place to start.
A small entrance fee will be levied to help with the running costs of the meetings. Members and friends are very welcome at the meetings.
Thursday 27th September 2012: 'Bats in Churches: An objective assessment of a perceived problem'
James Hales from University College London, will be talking about his ongoing research related to the use of historic church buildings by bats in the U.K.
Thursday 22nd November 2012: 'Training bat researchers in Asia and using DNA to solve taxonomic problems.'
Dr Nikki Thomas (Harrison Institute) and Dr Debbie Bartlett (Greenwich University) will report back on a training workshop on echolocation held in India.
